Last night, San Jose went down 3-0 in the series to Chicago. While Sharks fans can draw on Philly's comeback win last series for inspiration that anything is possible, the reality is, there's a huge difference between Boston and Chicago. The Sharks may hang on for a game or two, but Chicago can start selling Game 1 tickets for the Finals whenever they please.
#1 - Dustin Byfuglien (F - CHI) -Once again, Byfuglien was the hero in Chicago, scoring the game winning goal in overtime on a one-timer from the slot.
#2 - Antti Niemi (G - CHI) - Niemi stood tall once again, stopping an amazing 44 shots, while surrendering just 2 goals in the win.
#3 - Patrick Marleau (F - SJ) - Marleau was dominant last night for the Sharks as he scored 2 goals for the 2nd straight game.
#4 - Dave Bolland (F - CHI) - In addition to holding Thornton in check most of the night, Bolland contributed with a beautiful goal and added an assist.
- Jeff Carter is still doubtful for game 4 today, but hasn't ruled it out.
- Ian Laperriere may return for the Flyers in game 4
- Jonathan Toews extended his point scoring streak to 12 games with 2 assists on the night. He now leads the league with 25 points and is an easy favorite for the Conn Smythe.
- Despite the loss, Evgeni Nabokov played a great game, stopping 35 of 38 shots.
