#1 - Jaroslav Halak (G-STL) -Halak continues to dominate in his new home, stopping all 24 shots for the shutout
#2 - Chris Stewart (F-COL) - Stewart turned in a hat trick against the Flames
#3 - Tim Thomas (G-BOS) - You just can't stop this guy. Another shutout for Thomas, this time stopping 20 shots.
#4 - Lauri Korpikoski (F-PHO) - Korpikoski scored his first two goals of the season, including the game winner against Detroit.
Injury Update:
- Jimmy Howard (G-DET) was sidelined with back spasms. Chris Osgood will resume duties in the meantime.
- Ondrej Pavelec (G-ATL) is just about ready to return to NHL action
- Marian Hossa (F-CHI) is expected to miss two weeks with an upper body injury
- Kurtis Foster (D-EDM) remains out for the Oilers
- Wayne Simmonds (F-LA) left the game last night with a lower body injury
- Andrei Markov (D-MON) is expected to play this weekend
Player Notes:
- Henrik Karlsson (G-CGY) allowed 6 goals on 36 shots for the Flames.
